Jason Pierre Paul injured his right hand in a Fourth of July weekend fireworks accident last year. The Haitian defensive end of New York Giants lost three fingers in the accident and was forced to play with a club or special glove. This upcoming season will be different according to highly priced player.
Pierre-Paul, 27, did not let his limitations hurt his performance too badly last year. He played eight games last season with a club on his right hand. He finished with one sack but had 41 pressures, fifth-best in the NFL over the final nine weeks of the season, according to Pro Football Focus. He’s looking to build off that after having an entire offseason to train.
“My hand feels great, …my right hand feels like my left hand.” Jason Pierre Paul said.
We expect to see you soon, Pierre-Paul.
