The Minnesota Vikings announced Saturday that it has signed Claudell Louis, a native of Haiti.
The 6-foot-5, 294-pound native of Haiti went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Louis is not the only Haitian player who will represent the Vikings. The 25-year-old defensive rookie who played collegiately at Fresno State grew up in Florida with Emmanuel Lamur, another Haitian player.
Apparently, his old friend has already a very good advice for the newcomer. “I told him to just take it one day at a time, really study hard and take the little things seriously,” Lamur said. “ ‘You have to find your niche, find what you’re good at, […] and whatever is provided to you, take full advantage of it. ”
