The FIFA ranking for July is out and according to the experts at the governing body the Russian team that competed at the 2017 Confederation Cup is a minnows compared to Haiti. There must be something dangerously wrong in the ranking methodology.
Haiti has lost or tied most of its games versus the second tier of CONCACAF teams which consequently knocked the Grenadiers out of all regional competitions for this year. The FIFA ranking declared Haiti the fourth best CONCACAF team way ahead of 3 of the region's 6 remaining contenders for the World Cup. Panama, Honduras, and Trinidad are at 52, 72, and 78 respectively.
According to the ranking South Korea, Ghana and various European nations like Scotland and Norway would be lucky to get a tie versus Haiti if any of these teams were to play the Grenadiers this month. Haiti vs Russia? Don't bet your life. According to the same ranking, Curacao would also pulverize the Russians!

Not a bad idea. At this point we just have to keep our head above the water line. We play anyone above us. In my book, Panama is a better than us.

It’s the one heading to the World Cup cause they told the federation to bring out his players from Europe players like Nazon placide ect

It might be a reserve team or a B team..I don't think it's the one heading to the world cup.

In the subject of DR, they won the CFU club championship last year, they just annihilated the so called professional clubs in T&T... the big question is will that translate into their national team success? DR must be doing something right. I wonder how many Haitian in that team DR Pentoja?
